Ayurvedic Ear Cleaning

What is it?

It is an ancient method. It involves a candle that, as it burns, suctions the ear mucus and cleans the ears without pushing more earwax deeper into the ear, as often happens with cotton swabs. On the contrary, by drawing out the mucus, it also removes microbes.

When is it needed?

It is used as a supplement to other sessions for tinnitus, hearing loss, as well as for detoxification and prevention. After the session, you usually hear more clearly.

Is it real or is it a scam?

There are some videos circulating that show that when you let the candle burn on its own, without putting it in an ear, it will still have some yellow powders inside. And that these residues are from the candle and not from the ear.

These videos are misleading. After each ear cleaning, the residues we see when we open the candle are very different from ear to ear. Often the “problematic” ear produces deep orange or even red residues, which shows the mucus and presence of microbes. If you burn a candle on its own, the residues it leaves are not different, but always the same.

Moreover, how real it is can be seen in how it has been preserved through the centuries as a traditional method of ear cleaning. It does not replace the work of a specialist doctor.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

It lasts about 15 minutes and costs €15.
